“Think Thursdays” Film Screening and Discussion with Directors Kaliya Warren & Brendan Hall. Come face to face with living history, and share in the difficult conversations we need to be having, as we travel through the American South on a unique Civil Rights program. Join thoughtful travelers of different ages, races, classes, and life experiences as they reckon with our painful legacy of racial injustice: the first, a group of predominantly Black middle school students from Chicago, and the second, a group of older Americans who lived through the 1960’s Civil Rights era. Both young and old are transformed as they confront the profound personal stories of leaders and everyday heroes – the people whose courage and perseverance paved the way for future generations and a more just world.
