Purpose:

The Delaware Department of Education invites aspiring educators and other community partners to join a virtual recruitment fair for educators of color and linguistically diverse educators. The recruitment fair will provide information on certification requirements, job openings and community involvement opportunities for diverse educators interested in working in Delaware schools, including current students as well as those interested in changing careers to work in Delaware schools.

Audience:

The fair also will offer sessions targeted at stakeholders including students, families and caregivers, professionals, colleges and universities, and community and business stakeholders who are directly involved in the development, planning, and implementation of the recruitment and retention of diverse educators in Delaware.
